Welcome to the Wanganui Tramping Club's Web Site

The Wanganui Tramping Club runs a variety of tramping/biking trips and social events throughout the year and new and intending members are always welcome.

The Club meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month (except January) at the Deerstalkers Hall at 100 Peat Street. Start time is 7.30pm.

Established in 1952, the Wanganui Tramping Club now boasts in excess of 180 people on its books.  Its activities cater for all ages: These range from those in their teens right through to still-active seniors in their eighties. If you are in anyway interested in ‘Great Outdoors’ activities, be it Tramping, Biking, Conservation issues, or simply want to participate in some healthy exercise, we think we have what  you're looking for! Please feel free to attend a club meeting or contact us for more information.
