Please Note:
If you ring to book in for a trip, especially for a week-end effort, please don’t be offended if you are quizzed by the trip leader.
The leaders’ first priority is the over-all safety of the members of their party. If you are unknown to the leader, he/she will want to be happy in their mind that you will be able to handle the terrain. There is some big country out there: Especially in the Tararuas and Ruahines with high spots 1500 metres plus encountered on some of the tramps and rarely is there a short-cut back if it all becomes too much!!

Mountain Bike Activities

The Wanganui Tramping Club's 'Mountain Bike' group aim for a minimum of one bike-oriented trip per month.

Please contact the trip leader listed in the Trips' Listing to book in and discuss Pack/Equipment  Requirements etc at that time.
